Beverly Hutchman, LPC

Hello! My name is Beverly Hutchman, LPC. As a Licensed professional Counselor for the past 7 years, I have enjoyed working with clients from the ages of 7 to 80. Serving those in the community as well as children in OYA programs and foster care. I began working in the mental health field in 2009 and haven’t stopped.

Treatment Philosophy

Therapy is a place where you can be yourself without judgement while learning how to live a better life through insight and self-discovery. It’s a place where you can figure out how to self-regulate, or to find out why you are doing things that are causing you trouble. It’s about your needs and how to manage when life gets hard.

Since every client’s needs are different, I use interweaves of Psychodynamic techniques, CBT, DBT skills, EMDR, and expressive therapies including art, writing, and music. Treatment is tailored collaboratively with the client.

I am EMDRIA certified in EMDR which can be used for many problems including trauma, family of origin issues, and pain.

I Provide Individual Therapy for those who want to work on:

  • Trauma

  • Sleep problems

  • Eating disorders

  • Grief and loss

  • Sexual abuse

  • Domestic violence

  • Anxiety disorders

  • Depression

  • Adjustment and life changes

  • Family of Origin issues

I believe in transparency, kindness, and equality for everyone. All races, religions, most ages, and all genders welcome!
