Jillian Lee, LCSW

Hi there, my name is Jillian and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, licensed in both Oregon and Washington. I relocated to the PNW from NYC in 2018 and have worked as a therapist for over 13 years. I spent nearly a decade in NYC working in a variety of different roles helping individuals and their families. I have extensive experience with relationship and attachment issues, trauma, anxiety and depression.

In my free time I enjoy spending time with my husband and 2 children, and exploring the PNW through hiking, camping, and rock climbing.

Therapeutic Approach

I like to focus on the way trauma impacts self-esteem and relationships. My counseling style is first and foremost strengths-based. I utilize a variety of different therapeutic methods such as Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Attachment based therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Solutions-Focused and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). My top priority within treatment is establishing a good therapeutic relationship, as I believe having a good connection helps to foster effective therapy and provides the best outcomes. In therapy, I am supportive, compassionate, and genuine with individuals. I do my best to ensure that I am meeting each individual where they are at, to actively listen and respect where they would like to see themselves in the future. I like to work collaboratively with individuals on their treatment goals. I encourage open communication regarding what therapeutic techniques and approaches work best for each individual so that they feel comfortable and to ensure that they are receiving the best therapeutic experience possible. I believe in helping individuals to improve their quality of life and sense of self, by empowering them with the skills and positive belief systems necessary to find themselves happier and healthier.

I primarily work with adult individuals who identify as female, who may be experiencing:

  • Women’s issues

  • Adjustment to life changes

  • Relationship and attachment issues

  • Grief and loss

  • Anxiety

  • Depression

  • Religious Trauma

  • Stress and burn out

  • Trauma and PTSD

  • Self esteem and self worth

I welcome all races, all religions, all sexual orientations, all gender identities and expressions, all abilities, all ethnicities, all bodies, all people, without judgement
