In my spare time I enjoy backpacking, hiking with my wife and three dogs, kayaking, and mountain biking.

Treatment Orientations

I believe that humans have a distinct ability to grow, change, and heal through fostering innate human potential, the therapeutic relationship, and optimizing the brain’s neuroplasticity. I work to incorporate these factors into my approach to help individuals achieve their goals through therapy.

I am trained in and utilize various therapeutic modalities, depending on my client’s needs and goals, including: motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, interpersonal psychotherapy, psychodynamic psychotherapy, family systems therapy, and dual diagnosis treatment modalities. I also provide Heart-Centered Hypnotherapy.

I utilize a person-centered, trauma-informed, and solution-focused approach coupled with strong clinical knowledge, evidence-based practice(s), and applicable neuroscience principals to achieve an individualized therapeutic treatment plan.

I also specialize in advanced evaluation and assessment of complex or co-occurring conditions.

I provide therapy to those who may be experiencing symptoms/problems related to (not limited to):

  • Depression & mood disorders (bipolar spectrum, etc.)

  • Anxiety/panic disorders/agoraphobia

  • Major stressors/toxic stress/adjustment issues

  • Obsessive compulsive disorder
