Stephanie Seet, LPC, NCC
My name is Stephanie Seet and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC). I have worked in mental health and in the school setting for the last 10 years. My professional background includes working with children, adolescents, adults, and families. I am specialized in trauma informed care and have worked with a variety of clients who experience depression, anxiety, ADHD, emotional and behavioral struggles, relationship issues, and more.
Outside of work, I love spending quality time with my family and friends. I also enjoy exploring the beauty of the PNW, savoring a cup of good coffee on my porch swing, music, fitness, and spoiling our sweet canine, Bernie.
Treatment Philosophy
I believe a person’s happiness and well-being encompasses their physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual health within the context of their family origin, culture, work/school, lifestyle and environment. My primary approach to counseling is an integration of person-centered, mindfulness-based, and cognitive behavioral therapies. In essence, this integrative counseling approach strives to balance mindful awareness, a genuine and empathic relationship with the client, and a collaborative effort at identifying what changes a client can make to improve their overall wellness.
I also integrate both skills development and process-oriented interventions grounded in support, collaboration, curiosity, and non-judgment. I value humor, realness, and empowerment in my work as a therapist. I believe all people are capable of creating a meaningful life, and that my clients are experts in their own experiences. I view my role as providing guidance and support during the journey.
I provide individual therapy and family therapy to those who may be experiencing:
Depression and mood disorders
Anxiety, panic, worries, stress
Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder/Trauma
Grief and loss
Adjustments to life changes
Relational/Family Issues
Self-esteem and negative self-image

I welcome ALL races, religions, sexual orientations, gender identities and expressions, abilities, ethnicities, and people without judgment.
